Further information about the Low Income Action Group, and the aims and aspirations of our group.

We are about People Helping Each Other.

This group is designed to facilitate networking and strategies to directly assist with Low Income issues in the South of Adelaide. We also take an interest in matters further out including South Australia, and the rest of the world.

At our meetings, or online messenger group meetings now mostly, we discuss Housing, Homelessness, Food Insecurity, Showers, Camping, Car Sleeping, Finances (Job Seeker / Youth Allowance / Frozen Wages etc), the evils of Job Agencies.

Hearing from those with Lived Experience is essential – and testimonials are shared to empower the individual to Not feel stigmatised by situations that are Outside of their own control.
